Research and Resources

Cyberworlds, Virtual realityVisions of Humanity in Cyberculture, Cyberpunk and Science Fiction2003 Call for Papers

Project Leaders: Christopher Macallister & Rob Fisher

One of the most ambitious plans we have for the Visions of Humanity in Cyberculture, Cyberpunk and Science Fiction project is to create a comprehensive collection of inter-disciplinary resources, databases, and links which will include all available types and varieties of media - from traditional book and journal sources through to art, DVD, film, music, radio, television, and web sites.

This will be a rolling project, continually updated and developed alongside the main project. In particular, we hope there will initially be three main areas of focus to this section of the web site;

  • research - a fully searchable and classified database of published materials relating to the key themes of the project

  • resources - a listing of available resources, listed according to media, relating to the themes of the project

  • links - a classified listing of links to other sites and resources which will supplement and advance the inter-disciplinary work of the project.

This aspect of the project is presently under planning and formation. If you would like to get involved, become a resource coordinator, or contribute links please contact the Project Leaders for further information.
