Conference Projects Conferences are the beginnings of exciting and challenging dialogues. We are committed to the view that they should never be viewed as stand-alone events. Instead, we believe that conferences should be a starting point - creative and innovative opportunities to expand the horizons of your work, research, thinking and even your institution. They are the beginning of long-term projects to grow interactive networks, develop new resources, and pool a shared commitment to taking ideas and visions forward. In particular, Inter-Disciplinary.Net is dedicated to establishing global inter- and multi-disciplinary conference projects which are focal points for bringing people together and forming mutually beneficial forums to support and encourage the growth of particular areas of work. Our At the Interface, Probing the Boundaries and Critical Issues series is home to over 30 research projects which now meet annually across the world. Not only do we organise our own projects but we are always willing to work in partnership with people, companies, and institutions to get further projects up and running. Collaboration and partnership are the keys to new and rewarding learning experiences. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested. That is why we see conference projects as being invaluable resources in not just starting a process but also in creating regular meeting points to review, consolidate, and advance the innovative and cutting-edge dialogues that our conference contexts provide. Along the way, more people join the conversations and further insights are added to the creative activity already started. |
