We believe that interdisciplinary living, thinking and practice is the ideal foundation for professionals and practitioners to develop their skills, abilities and professional identity, in a reflective and engaging manner. Consequently we are building a range of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshops, conferences, seminars and events. These are designed to help people who are interested in sharing ideas, experiencing a range of good practice methods and techniques, and developing professionally.
Interdisciplinary approaches recognise that theoretical qualifications need to be supplemented, accompanied and intertwined with vocational and skills-based forms of learning. We aim to provide a wide diversity of structured, practical and – more importantly – sharing based experiences to help you acquire and evolve the skills and knowledge to work more effectively.
At the heart of our mission is a concern with you as a person: engaging with your own sense of what you do, why you do what you do and – ultimately – how to help you to do it better. Being there for others is also a matter of being there for yourself. Both parts are vital in delivering effective, powerful and compelling services from which communities can benefit. This is what our Continuing Professional Development programmes strive to achieve.
