Revolt and Revolution

Revolt and Revolution

Welcome to the Project
While contemporary nations pride themselves of their political stability, the reality is that our world is continuously experiencing revolt and revolution. Such moments of instability do not need to be political to have far reaching consequences. This inter- and multi-disciplinary Project then aims to explore how these moments of change question and alter established structures. Particularly, we are seeking to gain insights into the source of such moments and how they gain momentum.

Core Themes for Development
The project will assess and explore a number of core themes:

  • Resistance today
  • The politics and ethics of revolt and revolution
  • Power, discourse and language
  • Technological revolutions

Related themes will also be identified for development and exploration. Out of our deliberations and dialogues it is anticipated that a series of related cross context research projects will develop.
