Probing the Boundaries Conference Projects
For the past nine years we have been launching and developing a range of 3 day global inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary conference projects designed to bring people together in order to focus on specific issues, areas, and subjects. These are now known as Probing the Boundaries projects. Their unifying theme is the deceptively question: what does it mean to be a person?

Consisting of annual and biennial conference projects, the aim of Probing the Boundaries projects is simple; to create working 'encounter' groups between people of differing perspectives, disciplines, professions, vocations and contexts. Projects are genuinely inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary, founded on the idea that conference forums should be a stimulating and enriching context which will enable you to begin conversations and discussions which you will take with you into the future.

In particular, Probing the Boundaries projects seek to foster and promote cutting edge inquiry and innovative dialogue which signposts the way for future research and shares good practice in the presentation of and interaction with its content. All projects are supported by an e-mail discussion group, eForum and dedicated ISBN publication series. We guarantee that all papers submitted to and presented at each conference will be published in an ISBN eBook; selected papers will be developed for hard copy ISBN publication in a themed volume.
