Inter-Disciplinary.Net is proud to announce the implementation of 2 exciting new ventures which will commence in 2006 and roll-out into 2007 and 2008. This will see the establishing, initially, of 2 inter-disciplinary research centres in the United Kingdom and Czech Republic. Further expansion is planned in central Europe and possibly Australia.

The research centres will continue the mission of ID.Net in seeking to encourage, promote and sponsor inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary conferences, seminars, forums, projects, and publishing; they will also actively encourage collaboration and proposals for collaborative ventures that are innovative, imaginative, and creatively interactive.

The UK Centre will focus on issues relating to health, depression, stress, humour, healing, 'alternative' therapies, tranquility and well being. This will link to satellite projects in Budapest and the Czech Republic and include training courses and spa experiences. The Prague Centre will focus on issues relating to persons, work, leadership and education. This will link to the UK Centre as well as to satellite projects in Australia and central Europe.

Further information will be released during the course of 2006 as we lead up to the launch of the Centres and the inaugural programmes that will be associated with each.
